Time Warner, News Corp. bid for Sabah
Time Warner, News Corp. and equity group Texas Off-shore have placed formal bids to get Turkish media group ATV-Sabah, Reuters reported Monday from Istanbul, as U.S. media congloms searching to develop search for assets in overseas and emerging marketplaces.Sabah is a component of Calik Holding, that also has interests in energy and finance. Bids were stated to become close to the $1 billion selling price.The possibility M&An industry on television seems to become warming up as private equity finance with cash to lose has returned in pressure, rivaling proper purchasers on some deals. Additionally, billionaire investor and three-time who owns MGM, Kirk Kerkorian, is stated to become back around the prowl too for U.S. or worldwide entertainment assets.
